About

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my Shoot-a-thon Page!!! It's year 3 and the goal has doubled.

I have been apart of New Heights for 18 years now and my love for this program only continues growing. I first started with New Heights as a third grader, attending their Saturday Skills program every Saturday at I.S. 218 in Inwood. This is where I met the people who would change my life forever and introduce me to a family I had yet to know i had. Being apart of New Heights has provided me with so many opportunities, I couldnt imagine getting with any other AAU program, but we're bigger than just basketball. New Heights has provided me with academic support and life skills that have enabled me to have the confidence to push myself in all aspects of my life. I am now the Communications and Development Associate at New Heights.

Why have i come back?

Because New Heights is family. My goal and mission has been to provide each student-athlete in our program with the support and opportunities New Heights was not fortunate enough to have in my days. My co workers and I work extremely hard to make sure that each student-athlete in our program thrives, not only in basketball but academically and in life. We are more than just a basketball program. We are family! As our family continues to grow the demand for support grows with it. We currently serve over 200 student-athletes, and with your donation or pledge, you are giving a student-athlete the opportunity to attend SAT Prep classes, have individualized tutoring, travel during the Spring and Summer (crucial for our high school student-athletes who want to play college basketball), etc. Each one of our kids has a goal and a dream and with your donation/pledge you are helping acheive that.

Please help me reach my goal of $1,000.

I challenge you to be an advocate for the New York City youth and for New Heights. Everything starts with our youth, why not be apart of molding our student-athletes into amazing and promising men and women?
