Shippensburg Basketball Booster Club will host its team wide Shoot-a-thon the week of January 10th.
During the event every athlete will shoot 50 free throws. We are looking for sponsors
for each MADE free throw. You can PLEDGE anything from .25 cents to 10 dollars per basket made or make a one-time DONATION.
This is our BIGGEST fundraiser that the Booster Club does! The Booster Club relies on the funds raised from this event to make this season and beginning of next season successful ones. Funds raised from this event will help the Booster Club support both the athletes and the coaches throughout the season.
The Booster Club uses the funds for the following: shooting shirts, travel suits, banquet fees for the athletes and coaches, banquet gifts for all athletes, banquet awards, drastically cutting the cost of away meals for the athletes, Hudl subscription, summer leagues, and many other things that come up throughout the season.
Without this fundraiser, it would be EXTREMELY hard to raise the funds that we need to make all of this happen. If we do NOT have a successful fundraiser, in the future we will have to do multiple fundraisers instead of just this one big one.
We GREATLY APPRECIATE all your help in making this a SUCCESSFUL fundraiser for the whole program!
Individual Prizes:
- 1st place: The athlete who raises the most money will get a $300 Amazon Gift
Card (must have raised at least $300 to qualify)
- 2nd place: The athlete who raises the second most will get a $200 Amazon Gift
Card (must have raised at least $200 to qualify)
- for every $100 raised, the athlete's name will be put into a random drawing to have a chance at getting their name drawn for a $100 Amazon Gift Card (ex. $100 - 1 chance, $200 - 2 chances, etc.)
- for every $50 raised, the athlete's name will be put into their team's random drawing to have a chance at getting their name drawn for a restaurant Gift Card (ex. $50 - 1 chance, $100- 2 chances, etc.)
Team Prizes:
- Every team who has 100% participation, with each athlete reaching their $50 goal, will get a team's pizza party!!!
