Mid Island Little League will host its team wide Hit-a-Thon Skills Challenge on May 12th.

During the event every athlete will get 10 attempts in 5 different skills events. We are looking for sponsors for each COMPLETED skill attempt. You can PLEDGE anything from .25 cents to 10 dollars per successful attempt or make a one-time DONATION.

The event will have 5 different skill competitions for the kids - hitting, fielding, running, catching and throwing. Each kid will get 10 attempts at each station (50 total).

FUNDRAISING AWARDS

Top Team - the team that raises the most funds will receive:

* Team Party: A fully catered team party in the Mid-Island Catering Hall.

* Team Custom Batting Gloves: each member of the team will receive custom batting gloves from Franklin Sports.

Top Players – the tops three individual fundraisers will receive:

* 1st Place: Free Registration for a season at Mid-Island LL

* 2nd Place: Four (4) tickets to a Staten Island Ferry Hawks Game, plus the opportunity to throw out the first pitch.

* 3rd Place: A $100 gift card to Dick’s Sporting Goods

* PLUS: All three winners will receive custom batting gloves from Franklin Sports
