The Champlain Valley Redhawk Football team will host its 2nd Annual team-wide LIFT-A-THON on Saturday, August 17th, 2024. 

During the event, each player will complete bench press and deadlifts for maximum reps. We are looking for sponsors to pledge per rep or make a one-time DONATION.

Based upon last year’s results, expect each player to average 30-50 reps in total. Please help us reach our goal!

On Saturday, August 17, 2024 CVU Football will be hosting its LIFT-A-THON for a 2nd year in a row!

The CVU Football team is growing!! With the success we’ve known in recent seasons, more and more young athletes are expressing an interest in playing Redhawk Football. And we want to provide as many as possible with that experience! To do that, we need to provide our players with the equipment (from head to toe) and facilities that promote safety, opportunity, and growth as athletes, as students, as individuals and as a team. Additionally, and even more importantly… we want to ensure that a family’s financial circumstance will not be an obstacle to playing the game these athletes love.

What is a Lift-A-Thon?

A Lift-A-Thon is an opportunity for players to come together as teammates to fundraise and raise money for their team and program … all while doing something they are passionate about!

How does it work?

During the event, each participating athlete will complete deadlifts and bench press to determine their combined maximum number of reps.  

Who can be a sponsor? 

Anyone can sponsor. And can do it from near or far! We encourage participants to reach out to family, friends, and neighbors for sponsorship. All that is needed is to visit the player’s page on GivingZone.com website and make a pledge per rep or a one-time donation.
