About

Hi everyone! Welcome to my second New Heights NYC Shoot-a-Thon fundraising page. New Heights NYC is an organization that aims to provide NYC student-athletes with opportunities to succeed on and off the court. Thank you to everyone for their help last year, and I am hoping you will again

Our mission is to educate and empower promising inner-city youth to be leaders, champions and student-athletes by developing the skills necessary for success in high school, college and life. New Heights creates opportunities and provides support for promising youth to fulfill their potential in the classroom, on the court and in the community.

Personally, I work with two amazing kids, Kenny and Christian, to help him succeed in the classroom, in the basketball arena, and especially with his style and swagger :). You can see Kenny in my photo reel (and his little brother Chris). Josh Housman, a good friend, and I started a tutoring program for students at this age level.

General Managers have joined a New Heights team to help them raise the funds needed to provide New Heights’ signature year-round integrated youth-development program College Bound and the 2016 basketball season.

Please help me reach my goal! Every dollar raised will benefit college-bound student-athletes. You can show your support by making a one-time donation now or by making a pledge per made free throw. You can also attend the event on May 14th (see information below). Most likely, due to my poor skills, I will not make many free throws, so you should probably pledge a lot per made basket!

Working with Kenny, Christian, and New Heights has been one of the best things about my postgrad life in New York City. Thank you for sharing this expereience with me.

Together we can get buckets and help improve the lives of these amazing students!

Support a college bound student-athlete today!

On Saturday, May 14, 2016, the New Heights Basketball Program will host it’s 3rd Annual Team Challenge Shoot-A-Thon at St. Raymond High School.

Every student-athlete will shoot 100 free throws. We are looking for sponsors for every MADE free throw. You can PLEDGE anything from .10 cents to 10 dollars per basket made or make a one-time DONATION.

All proceeds will fund New Heights’ signature year-round integrated youth-development program College Bound and the 2016 basketball season.
